Richard became an Associate with Berman, Sobin & Gross, LLP in 2002. He earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Maryland in 1971 and also a B.A. in Chemistry from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He is currently a member of the Maryland Bar Association, was a Commissioner on the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission from 1988-2002 and is a member of the Negligence, Insurance and Workers’ Compensation Committee of the MSBA. Richard has the unusual qualification of having represented both the Claimant and the Insurance Carrier before the Workers’ Compensation Commission which has given him a unique perspective of the problems faced by all parties in a compensation claim.
