Clifford Sobin

Cliff is a founding partner of Berman, Sobin & Gross, LLP and is its managing partner. He graduated from the University of Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland law school where he graduated with honors. He drafted legislation for the Maryland Legislature and then became a Law Clerk for the Honorable Jacob S. Levin in Prince George's County.

He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Inc., the District of Columbia Bar and is licensed to practice before all local and state courts and the United States District Court in Maryland. He has testified before the Maryland state legislature numerous times on pending workers' compensation legislation. On many occasions he has served as a mediator at the request of the Court. He has taught numerous continuing legal education courses for lawyers and given numerous seminars and lectures to various organizations, including:

  • Fire fighters;
  • Fraternal Order of Police;
  • Municipal and County employees;
  • Communication Workers' Union Locals throughout the State of Maryland;
  • Afscme;
  • Local 400;and
  • Various other public safety unions and organizations.
He has also lectured extensively to vocational rehabilitation organizations. Mr. Sobin has been assigned an A-V Rating in Martindale Hubbell.
